The following is a visual step-by-step overview on adding a new attachment to an account, contact, lead or opportunity in Dynamics. Attachments are added view the Notes feature within a records Timeline.
Step 1. Open the Opportunity to which you'd like to add an attachment.
Step 2. In the Summary tab, click on the paperclip icon ( ? ) or "Enter a note... ". By clicking on the paperclip directly, you desktop folders will open to select document.
Step 3. Add note title and option description, then click Add Note.
Your new note will appear in the timeline. There you can edit or delete any added notes/attachments.
