Go to Dynamics: ahima.crm.dynamics.com and log in to Dynamics using your AHIMA credentials. Select the AHIMA-Sales app.
Close an Opportunity |
1. In Dynamics, go to Opportunities.
2. Go to My Opportunities - Open view, or look up specific opportunity you want to close using the "search this view" box*.
3. Go to the Quotes tab to ensure all quotes are closed. Learn more about closing a quote here.
? Tip: *Opportunities can only be closed if the associated quotes are also closed.
4. From the top navigation bar of the form, choose one of the following actions to close the opportunity:
a. To close your opportunity as won, select Close as Won.
b. To close your opportunity as lost, select Close as Lost.
5. If the opportunity is closed as Won, complete the pop-up form as follows, then click OK:
a. In Actual Revenue, Verify the amount, and make changes, if necessary.
b. In Description, enter details about what contributed to winning this opportunity.
If the opportunity is closed as Lost, complete the pop-up form as follows, then click OK:
a. In Competitor, select a competitor you lost this opportunity to.
b. In Description, add more details around why the opportunity was lost.
? Tip: To view associated opportunity close records go to the related tab, select activities, then open the closed activity associated view.
Reopen a Closed Opportunity |
If you've closed an opportunity as lost, but would like to start discussions about a potential sale, you may want to reopen a closed opportunity.
1. In Dynamics, go to Opportunities.
2. Select Opportunities - Closed (Lost) view from system views.
3. Open the Opportunity you want to reopen.
4. From the top navigation bar of the form, click [ Reopen Opportunity ].*
? Tip: All reopened opportunities will start appearing in the open opportunities list.
