Haugen/Course Mill: Troubleshoot Course Access

If the user does NOT exist in Haugen/Course Mill:


Step 1. Go to the Persons record in Aptify and click on Web User.



Step 2. Open the Web User with the Person External Account. 



Step 3. Right click on the CourseMill Person External Account and Delete.



Because they have a registration already and the user doesn't exist in Haugen, it's trying to create the registration in Haugen with user credentials that don't exist. The best way to fix this, is to just delete the Person External User.  This way the system knows it needs to create an account in Haugen first and then create the registration.


If the user DOES exist in Haugen/Course Mill:


1. Follow steps 1 and 2 above. Open the CourseMill Person External Account.



2. Go to Haugen Academy - Login. Log in using credentials on the AHIMA secret server. Look up the user. Ensure that the Account ID and User ID in both Aptify and Haugen are the user's AHIMA ID. Ensure that the Access Secret in Aptify and password in Haugen are the same.
