Generate Code

1. Open the record for the initial product being purchased and go to the tab Generate Coupon Code

2. Click the icon to create a new record and complete the fields with the following information:

• Original Product ID – this will auto-populate with the current product ID (do not change this)
• Type – Select Product
• Product ID – enter the product ID you are offering a code for post purchase discount
• Product Category ID – this can remain blank
• Discount Percent – enter the discount amount percentage
• Parent Campaign ID – this can remain blank
• Member Type ID– if it is eligible for everyone, select All Types (otherwise select the specific group)

For All Types, also check Include Sub Member Types

• Start Date – Date the coupon is eligible to start being issued
• End Date - Date the coupon should stop being issued

** If you leave these dates blank it will be open-ended and you will have to manually control when the discount beings and ends. **

3. Click Save and Close. 

NOTE: The record will appear on the tab.

Activate Code

When you are ready to activate the code follow the steps below: 

1. In the product record page, go to Details → General tab

2. Check the box Generate Coupon

3. Enter the value Campaign Length – this is the amount of days the customer has to use this campaign code

4. Enter the Max Quantity – number of coupons that can be issued 

5. Click Save on the product record
