Under Attendee Info > Active questions
Ensure the Welcome page questions uses the Other Identified field, but it must be named Member Type
Under Categories, ensure each of the member types is listed as a category name
The Category name field must EXACTLY match what the membership type name is in the CRM
Category short name can be a different, friendly label
Registration > Registration Settings > Integrations
Advanced Settings > Integrations
Open ID Settings
Enable OIDC
Fill in needed settings (copy from previous event, or the endpoints are listed here:
Enable Initiate OIDC for Registration
Click Save
Click Update Metadata
Setup Attendee field mapping
Save and Stay
Go to Pre-Approved Data
Place a check next to each of the member types that are included in the SSO
For each member type, click Manage Pre-Approved Data
In the section ‘Paste approved data…’ type in the memberType name exactly as it passed in the API
Click Upload
The Member Type will appear un the View/Edit Existing Data section.
Click Save & Exit
Do this for each of the member types
- Professional
- Professional - Premier
- Professional - Emeritus
- Student
- Professional - Global
- Honorary
- Non-Member
Continuing under Pre-Approved Data
Set ‘Pre-Approve based upon the following field:’
Select Member Type
Check ‘Automatically select the category for the attendee…’
Set ‘If a pre-approved category is not found…’
Select Non-Member
Save & Exit
Go to Pre-load Data
Select ‘Pre-load via OIDC SSO’
Save & Exit
