Using Chrome (the 3M preferred browser) and by properly logging-in through the Learning Center into the AHIMA VLab™ course, then selecting the 3M Launch Link - users should be able to access 3M just fine.
- If the following Screen A is where students and faculty may be “getting stuck” and cannot get further, then they need to ‘allow’ 3m-usa.ahima.org/launchCRS.html under pop-up blockers so they can get to the next Screen B. They should be able to get in normally after that.
- Screen B is what students and faculty should see if they get all the way in. All of this worked perfectly for me in Chrome.
- and if the 3M session may “time-out” during use, students should log all the way out of AHIMA VLab™ and ahima.org, then come back into it and 3M should also work fine. That worked perfectly for me in Chrome.
If you may be experiencing 3M access issues, such as the system may time-out after 4 minutes of inactivity, your login session may reset. If you encounter any type of authentication error, refresh your browser (Chrome preferred) to continue using the system. If necessary, you could also use the Internet Explorer Workaround (attached) and you should be able to get in. We are researching the root cause of the issue and will post an update here. Please stay tuned to this Announcements area. Thank you.
