Dynamics Finance: Batch Process and Sage Export

Finance Area / Dashboard 

Once in Dynamics, you will want to ensure the top displays AHIMA-AMS  

And at the bottom you should show that you are part of Finance Mgmt 

Create GL Distributions 

Navigate to Batches and select the view Open Batches 

Open the batch and change the Batch Status to Create GL Distributions 

Click Save & Close 

This will move your batch to the view Pending Batches – Waiting to be Posted 

After a few minutes, the batch status will update to GL Distribution Success 

GL to Sage Export 

Highlight your successful batches 

Go to Run Report and select GL to Sage Export 

You have options to select which records with want to export 

Click Run Report 

The report will display 

Click on the Save icon and you can select the format to save the file.  

Once saved, you can import this into Sage. 

Once you have imported into Sage, you can update the batch status to Posted and Closed 

GL Distribution Error 

If your batch has an error the Batch Status will read GL Distribution Error 

Open the record to view additional details 

Go to Additional Info > Progress Message
