The main thing that keeps you from deleting a duplicate cert is the Class Registration that recognized as being awarded when the exam is completed. In this case the Class Reg recongizes:
Credential ID 246863 as the credential that was awarded.
So all you would do is delete the orphaned one:
Please note this only comes into play with a recently awarded credential where there are no credential cycles on it. IF let's say the class registration somehow got pushed to a new duplicate credential created, and you look at the one it's not longer tied to and in that one you see a history of credential cycles, THEN you have to get SQL to change the class registration to the older issued credential and delete the duplicate one. This requires a backend SQL update, which is why it went to Database team in the past.
