The following document outlines the process of removing CEU from credential cycle and the process of reassigning CEUs to an alternative credential cycle. This process is useful for AHIMA Credentials whos credential cycles might have been duplicated or CEU splits incorrectly assigned.

Reassign CEU on Credential Cycle

1. Open Person record in Aptify

2. Go to AHIMA Credentials

3. Open the Credential record for which you will be reassigning CEUs

4. Go to Credential Cycles and open the current active cycle

5. Take note of the Credential Cycle ID

6. Open the second cycle and current active cycle (where the CEUs will be reassigned to)

7. Take note of the Credential Cycle ID

8. Go to CEUs to search for CEUs within credential cycle date frame that will be reassigned

9. Open the CEU record and go to CEU Split

10. Open current credential cycle in CEU Split and replace credential cycle ID with new Credential Cycle ID

10. Click OK

11. Save and close CEU record

Remove CEU Split (Move CEU to "Additional CEUs" section of transcript)

Note: Overflow of CEUs in cycle can be caused by duplicate credential cycles. There is no detrimental affect in storing addition CEUs in the active credential cycle versus in the additional CEUs section, however, they can be cleaned up by following the steps below.

1. Open the Person record in Aptify and go to CEUs tab

2. Go to CEUs to search for CEUs within credential cycle date frame that will be reassigned

3. Open the CEU record and go to CEU Split

4. Delete the CEU Split Record.

5. Save and close CEU record.
