This document contains a step by step guide for accessing and using the Report Server. Data sources: Aptify AMS (live data) and Data Warehouse (central repository designed to support analytical processes).

1. If you are not physically located in the Chicago office you will need to be connected to the VPN.
2. Go to https://reports.ahima.org/reports/

This will take you to the landing page of the Report server. It contains a series of folders roughly organized by functional areas. Currently available folders:
Certifications
- Conference
- Customer Experience
- Data Integrity
- Excel Reports
- Financial Statements
- Foundation
- General
- Marketing
- Meetings
- Membership VLD
- Online_Education
- Products
- Publications
- Webinars
- If there is a folder in the list above that you believe you need access to be please reach out to https://support.ahima.org to request access.
3. Select a Folder.
4. Select a Report.
- Some reports may have options that allow users to control/filter the output. See example image below:
- Make the appropriate choices within each option, if necessary and then select View Report.
- Once the data is displayed you can export to a format of your choice be selecting the Save icon and then choosing the export format desired. See example image below:
SUBSCRIBE TO REPORT SERVER LIST
Below are the steps for subscribing to list generated from the report server.
1. In the report server Home Folders page, browse for folder that holds report you want to subscribe to then click on the three dots ( . . . ) to select Subscribe from dropdown.
2. Customize your new report:
- Description = brief; include title of report (e.g. "Monthly member count")
- Type of subscription = Standard subscription (recommended)
- Schedule = Report-specific schedule (recommended) → Click "Edit schedule" to customize frequency then click Apply.
- Destination = Email (recommended)
- Deliver options (E-mail) =
- Edit subject line
- Keep "Include Report"
- Keep "Include Link"
- Select render format - e.g. CSV (recommended)
- Report parameters = select from "Enter value" or "Use default value"
3. Click Create Subscription.
GENERATING A LIST OF PURCHASES BY PRODUCT CODE
Below are the steps for generating a list of purchases.
1. Go to https://reports.ahima.org/reports/report/General/Orders%20By%20Product%20Code
2. Delete the product ID numbers in the Product ID field. Enter the Aptify product ID number.
The standard dates will include all purchases to date. You can change the order start date to generate a list of the new registrations since the report was last generated.
3. Click View Report.
4. Select the "save” icon (export drop down menu) and download as excel.
