To add a new shortcut, click and drag the view to the shortcut bar (you must drag it to the header/title bar) and you will see a plus sign to drop it in your shortcuts bar.
Restore access to a view via a new shortcut:
Expand the entity that contains the view you are trying to access or add to shortcuts bar. If you no longer see the view, create a new one. If the view came from a shared folder in Aptify, it is likely you no longer have access to the shared folder (e.g. employee no longer with AHIMA).
In the example screenshots below, the view "Web Inquiry Contacts" was a part of an existing shared folder titled CR Shared Views.
To remove the bad shortcut, right-click the shortcut icon and Remove Item.
Access Error Message
If you received an error like the one below, that indicates there is an issue with the existing shortcut you are attempting to access.
A shortcut is simply a copy of an existing view within an entity that was added to a "quick access" bar by dragging the view (report) name in to the shortcuts bar. If you receive the error above then that means the view that was once copied is no longer available.
Due to this error, you will need to delete the view from the shortcuts bar, create a new view (or adjust the view settings) and add it to the shortcuts bar. Or you may simply need to delete the old shortcut and re-add it.
Views can be created by an individual user, or you can connect to shared views (views created by someone else that you can access).
