Using the AHIMA Phone System in Teams

The following is a guide on how to set-up voicemail, forwarding calls, and other basic phone system operations in Teams.


Set-up Your Voicemail 


1. In Teams, click on your Profile icon located in the upper-right corner and select Manage Account.


2. Go to the Calls section and click on Configure voicemail 



3. Adjust your voicemail settings:

  • Record a greeting

  • Set your Call answer rules

  • Enter Text-to-speech custom greeting option
  • Set Out of office greeting


Transfer or Hold Phone Calls

  • During a phone call Click the  • • •  
  • To Transfer the call:
    • Warm transfer: Click Consult then transfer
    • Cold Transfer: Click Transfer
  • To Hold the call: Click Hold to put them on hold



TIP: 


Use the virtual number-pad icon on the toolbar during calls.
