Microsoft Exchange online, hosting provider for @ahima.org, supports Plus Addressing (sub-addressing). This gives you access to unlimited email addresses based off your one single email account.
To use plus addressing, add a “+” after your name, followed by anything, it will still get delivered to your inbox.
SAMPLES:
will+extra@example.com will go to will@example.com
kim.house+newsletter@example.com will go to kim.house@example.com
steve+august2014@example.com will go to steve@example.com
steve+august2014@example.com will go to steve@example.com
jane.doe+testing@ahima.org will go to me at jane.doe@ahima.org
This feature can be used to help automatically filter email into folders/labels or as a method of providing a unique email to every site to determine which services are selling email address to spammers.
