Enable Mailbox and User - Send Email From Dynamics

  • Advanced Settings: Security: Add security role “Dynamics 365 App for Outlook User” 
  • Advanced Settings: Mailboxes: All Mailboxes: Select Test & Enable Mailbox

  • In Mailbox, set 
    • Incoming Email = 'Server-Side Synchronization'
    • Outgoing Email = 'Server-Side Synchronization'
  • Global Admin: Click 'Approve Email' for both User and Mailbox record (send direct link)
  • Impersonate User: Personalization Settings: Email: 
    • Select 'Allow other Microsoft Dynamics 365 users to send email on your behalf' (for send as noreply) 
    • Track = No email messages
    • Mirror all other preset settings in screenshot

  • Impersonate user to send a test email from system to confirm send privileges (recommend CC self)
