Validate Dynamics license is assigned (Azure)
1. Go to portal.azure.com
2. Ensure you are in the correct directory
3. From the home screen, click on your name and check that you are in the American Health Information Management Association Directory. If not, click Switch directory and select the correct one.
4. Once you are in the correct directory, select Users from the home screen
5. Search for the user and open their record
5. Select Licenses from the left menu bar
6. Look for Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise Edition.
**If this license does not exist, submit a help desk ticket for the Internal Infrastructure Team requesting they assign this license to the user. **
If the user has the needed license, go to the next step and to assign roles in Microsoft Dynamics.
Assign roles in Microsoft Dynamics
1. In Microsoft Dynamics, select the cog in the upper right and select Advanced Settings
2. Select Settings > Security
3. Select Users
4. Search for the user and open their record
5. Select Manage Roles
Each user must have the Sales Enterprise App role selected.
6. Add/adjust the appropriate AHIMA department role for that user.
7. Click OK
