What you will need:
- Web form name
- Field schema name
Tip: To find the field schema name, refer to the columns available in the entity via PowerApps or the original entity form on backend |
1. In Dynamics, go to AHIMA-AMS then go to the Web Mgmt area
2. On left hand navigation, go to Navigation and open Web Forms
3. Open the active web form that contains the field that will need to be made required.
4. Go to Element Extensions tab
5. In Element Extensions, click to + Add New Web Form Element Extension
Complete the following:
6. Under General tab, and enter Name = field logical name (**Ensure there are NO capitalizations in the logical name)
7. Then, go to Field Setup tab, and select Validator Type = Required
8. Save & Close record
Refresh API Cache to validate update on web form
