Common Person Merge Errors

If you encounter an error during merge, check the session exceptions error log to see why the merge failed (go to Aptify home >> click paper with red X icon in pop-out).



ERROR MESSAGE:

Error saving Orders #

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.


SOLUTION: One (or more) of the orders in the record you are trying to delete is missing person record linked to registration. To fix, open the order and link person to the registration/subscription.



How to fix: 

1. Open the order(s) listed in the error message. 

2. Double-click on the order line item (not hyperlink). 

3. Check to confirm the person is linked to the order (i.e. Is linked as Attendee in Registration, Is subscribed, etc.) If not, enter the new person Aptify ID, click OK. 

4. Save and close the order. Repeat steps 1-3 for any other orders. 




If an error you've encountered is not listed, please submit new ticket to AHIMA helpdesk for troubleshooting tips.
