In the center column of Code Detail pages, users will see National Coverage Determinations (NCD), Local Coverage Determinations (LCD), and Local Coverage Articles (LCA). By default, the location will be set to National and NCDs, LCDs, and LCAs for every location will be visible. To only view the policies relevant to a specific location, look for the “Choose Your Location” heading in the top right column and select a location from the dropdown menu.
Clicking on the linked Title for any policy will open that page on the CMS website. If codes have been included in the policy, they will appear when you click on the Show Codes button. If many policies exist for a code, you may need to click the Show More button on the top right to view them all.
Please note: The WPS Jurisdiction 5 contract (Part A) is a national contract that covers some providers in most states, so that will appear in LCDs for many locations.
