Using the E/M Utilization Comparison Tool

This tool allows you to compare E/M utilization for a practice or provider against both national and local benchmarks.

Steps to Use the Tool

1. Enter the provider name in the input field.
2. Select the appropriate:
   • Specialty
   • Service Type
   • Geographic Location (defaults to National)
3. In the data entry fields, input how frequently each code has been reported during the selected timeframe.
4. Click the Compare button to generate your chart.

Exporting Results

After generating your chart, you can:

• Print the chart
• Create a PDF report using the buttons located below the chart
