Using the Lookback Feature

Users with Expert and Payer access can use the Lookback feature to view historical SelectCoder data as it appeared at any point since 2016.

How to Use the Lookback Tool

1. Locate the Lookback option at the top of the SelectCoder page.
2. Click on the calendar date.
3. Select the date you want to view and click Go.

Once selected, SelectCoder will update to display:

• Code descriptions
• CCI edits
• MUEs
• And other coding information exactly as it was on that date

NCDs and LCDs not active as of the selected date will be shown in italics, along with the date they were effective or revised.

To return to the current date, click the arrow next to the selected date.
