AAPC and AHIMA CEUs

SelectCoder subscribers can earn up to 12 AAPC and 12 AHIMA CEUs per year through the weekly articles in the Part B News publication.

To access the CEUs:

• Navigate to the newsletter articles section of SelectCoder. Once there, check the box for "Part B News" and select the "Search" button. This will bring up a running list of Part B articles. For example, all articles tagged with a date of 4/28/25, are part of the April 28, 2025, issue and form the basis of the CEU quiz.
• After reading the articles tagged to a weekly issue, proceed to the DecisionHealth Part B News CEU portal to take the associated quiz.
• If you're new to the CEU portal, you will be required to register an account. Simply follow the prompts to create an account. Note: Your log-in credentials for the CEU portal are different than your SelectCoder credentials. Be sure to save your credentials for future use.

Additional note: Part B News offers prior approval of the AAPC for 0.5 CEUs for 24 of 48 yearly issues. Granting of this approval in no way constitutes endorsement by AAPC of the program, content or the program sponsor. Your can earn your CEUs by passing a five-question quiz delivered through the Part B News CEU website.

Specialty Coding CEUs

SelectCoder subscribers can access up to 12 AAPC CEUs per year through the monthly articles in the Anesthesia and Pain Coder's Pink Sheet – on SelectCoder and the Orthopedic Coder's Pink Sheet – on SelectCoder. Each monthly publication is approved for 0.5 CEUs.

In order to earn AAPC CEUs from the publications, you must take a short online quiz and pass with a 70% grade or higher.

To access the CEUs:

• Navigate to the "newsletter articles" section of SelectCoder. Once there, check the box for "Anesthesia and Pain Coder's Pink Sheet" and select the "Search" button. Or check the box for "Orthopedic Coder's Pink Sheet" and select the "Search" button. This will bring up a running list of the monthly articles. For example, articles tagged with a date of August 2025 are part of the August 2025 issue and form the basis of the August 2025 CEU quiz.
• After reading the articles tagged to a monthly issue, proceed to the DecisionHealth CEU portal to take the associated quiz.
