CEUs
AAPC and AHIMA CEUs
SelectCoder subscribers can earn up to 12 AAPC and 12 AHIMA CEUs per year through the weekly articles in the Part B News publication.
To access the CEUs:
- Navigate to the newsletter articles section of SelectCoder.
- Check the box for "Part B News" and select the Search button. This displays a list of relevant articles.
- For example, articles tagged with the date 4/28/25 are part of the April 28, 2025 issue and form the basis of that week’s CEU quiz.
- After reading, proceed to the DecisionHealth Part B News CEU portal to take the quiz.
- If you’re new to the portal, register for an account (login credentials are different from SelectCoder).
Note: Part B News offers prior approval from AAPC for 0.5 CEUs for 24 of 48 yearly issues. Approval does not imply endorsement by AAPC.
CEUs are earned by passing a short, five-question quiz on the CEU website.
Specialty Coding CEUs
Subscribers can also earn up to 12 AAPC CEUs annually through the monthly articles in:

To access these CEUs:
- Navigate to the newsletter articles section of SelectCoder.
- Check the box for either "Anesthesia and Pain Coder's Pink Sheet" or "Orthopedic Coder's Pink Sheet", then click Search.
- Articles tagged with a specific month (e.g., August 2025) form the basis for that month’s CEU quiz.
- After reading, go to the appropriate CEU portal to take the quiz:
- If you’re new to the CEU portal, register a new account. Be sure to save your login details.
