AAPC and AHIMA CEUs
SelectCoder subscribers can earn up to 12 AAPC and 12 AHIMA CEUs per year through the weekly articles in the Part B News publication.
To access the CEUs:
Navigate to the newsletter articles section of SelectCoder. Once there, check the box for "Part B News" and select the "Search" button. This will bring up a running list of Part B articles. For example, all articles tagged with a date of 4/28/25, are part of the April 28, 2025, issue and form the basis of the CEU quiz.
After reading the articles tagged to a weekly issue, proceed to the DecisionHealth CEU Center to take the associated quiz.
Log into the CEU Center using the same email and password you've established for your SelectCoder subscription.
Additional note: Part B News offers prior approval of the AAPC for 0.5 CEUs for 24 of 48 yearly issues. Granting of this approval in no way constitutes endorsement by AAPC of the program, content or the program sponsor. You can earn your CEUs by passing a five-question quiz delivered through the DecisionHealth CEU Center.
Specialty Coding CEUs
SelectCoder subscribers can access up to 12 AAPC CEUs per year through the monthly articles in the Anesthesia and Pain Coder's Pink Sheet – on SelectCoder and the Orthopedic Coder's Pink Sheet – on SelectCoder. Each monthly publication is approved for 0.5 CEUs.
In order to earn AAPC CEUs from the Pink Sheet publications, you must take a short online quiz and pass with a 70% grade or higher.
To access the CEUs:
Navigate to the "newsletter articles" section of SelectCoder. Once there check the box for either "Anesthesia and Pain Coder's Pink Sheet" or "Orthopedic Coder's Pink Sheet" and then select the "Search" button. This will bring up a running list of monthly articles. Example: All articles tagged with a date of August 2025 are part of the August 2025 issue and form the basis of the August 2025 CEU quiz.
After reading the articles tagged to a monthly issue, proceed to the DecisionHealth CEU Center to take the associated quiz.
Log into the CEU Center using the same email and password you've established for your SelectCoder subscription.
AHCC
In order to earn AHCC (formerly BMSC) CEUs from SelectCoder you must submit a short summary of what you've learned with your renewal applications.
