How to Use the Code Search Tool
Quickly look up information about a CPT®, HCPCS, ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, or Modifier code using the Code Search tool at the top of each page.
Type in a code, part of a code, or a keyword you’d find in the code description and click Search to view a list of code choices. If you enter an exact code, you’ll be taken directly to the respective code detail page.
You can also browse to an individual code by clicking the Browse Codes link to the right of the search button. Use the plus sign (+) to the right of each code section to reveal available subsections.
Click on any code category to view specific code choices or continue expanding the tree until you reach a singular code. Once selected, you'll be taken directly to that code’s detail page.
