Genitourinary Code Changes
FY2017 brought more than 100 changes to Chapter 14 (Genitourinary System) in ICD-10-CM, with more than 60 new codes and dozens of revisions to existing codes. And that doesn’t include dozens of other revisions to codes and guidance elsewhere in the code set that have impacted genitourinary coding. While some changes merely attempted to clean up terminology, others were more significant. Find out how to look up these codes using the Coding Center and where to find the official and expert guidance to properly assign and sequence them. - Recorded 24 July 17
