Add Apply Filter or Add Columns to Existing Dynamic Views

Go to Dynamics: ahima.crm.dynamics.com and log in to Dynamics using your AHIMA credentials. Select one of the apps accordingly (e.g. AHIMA-Sales, AHIMA-AMS).

? Tip: Applied Filters on View Table are Exportable to Excel.



Step 1. Go to the view you need to filter. 


Step 2. Click on the column header that contains the data you want to filter (or sort) and select Filter by.




Step 3. Choose a filter option from the drop-down list. 


? Tip: If you want to filter by partial field value, then select "Contains", "Begins with" or "Ends with". If you want to exclude specific data, select "Does Not Contain". If you are looking in a field that typically is not completed and only need to see records that contain a value in that field, then select "Contains data", and so on. 


 

 


Step 4. Enter the value you want to filter by in the blank spot below the filter trigger, then click Apply. 




Step 5. (optional) Sort your data or export using the Export to Excel button at the top.



ADD COLUMN TO EXISTING VIEW

? Tip: Columns added to existing (pre-populated) system views will not generate in excel export list. You must create a new view with desired columns.



Step 1. Click on Column options button next to view search box. Add column to any view to expand data set as needed.




The first column pop out lists existing columns. 


[Optional] Add columns not in default list. 


? Tip: Reset to default to remove additional columns.




Step 2. Additional columns are inclusive all data that currently exists in Dynamics. 



Step 3. Click Apply. 


EDIT COLUMNS IN EXISTING VIEW

? Tip: Columns edited to existing (pre-populated) system views will not generate in excel export list. You must create a new view with desired columns.



Step 1. Click on Column options button next to view search box.


Step 2. Move columns up (left) and down (right) or remove as needed. 



Step 3. Click Apply.
